Is It Free To Call A Prepaid Phone With Free Nights And Weekends?

I have At&t with free nights and weekends. I have a friend that lives in California but has a prepaid phone. I live in Florida, would i still be able to call my friend after 9:00pm my time and it still be free? Or does it differ when calling or receiving calls after 9:00pm from a pre-paid phone?

no as long as you have free nights and weekends you can call anybody after friday at 9 or after 9 on weekends. its just not gonna be free for your friend
