What Are Some Good Money Saving Tips?

I am planning a vacation, and I give myself about a year (not written in stone) to save and plan. Do you have any good money saving tips? I want to open a savings account that I do not have an ATM card as well, otherwise I think I would spend it. . . . . So, any tips?

  1. A fixed account for a year or how long you want. Or join in a box or a pardner with people you can trust. How it works: You need a box holders who hold an all money, must be credible. There must be a couple of people the more the better. every week or maybe two weeks you all would give the money box holder box if its a hundred or more, and someone would get benefit every week or month and it would be a couple of one hundred U.S. dollars depending on how much people and money. You can take the last handon't you do not want to use them before time. REMEMBER HAVE TO BE WITH PEOPLE YOU CAN TRUST

  2. If you can control yourself, is something easy, but here is what I would recommend.
      1. Know what you want, $ 1000? $ 2000?
      2nd Scheduling.
3rd Save every penny you can
4th Get a checking account, savings account only gives you 4% per year, you might as well save up carefully
      So What saves you?
      1. Budget, review your bills, plan to spend what you spent last month, this month, and save all ELSE
2nd Always tell yourself, spent dollars have means one U.S. dollars less for a holiday.
I hope this helps a lot, that's all I give to a beginner, if you have advanced questions, message me

  3. This is what I do because I find it hard to not spend money that I try to save. Receive either a 5 gallon water jug or something similar that can hold a lot of changes. Add everything you change that you get back from buying things that you pay cash for. I also make a habit to ask for rolls of quarters from the bank. About every week I usually get 4 rolls (40th 00) and the jug. This works well for me because I tend to use them if I ended up in a serious bind and would be desperate enough to take everything to the bank to cash it in. I save for a wooden floor with mine, but a lot of people do this to save for the holidays. I have done so since the beginning of the year and I have almost 2000th

  4. You need to start thinking about the S-M-A-R-T. What type of cuts you can do? For example: I drink bottled water. Now at $ 1 a bottle of something that cover over 65% of our planet is not smart. So I bought one of those water filters that screw into your tap. I have bottles that I Refil over and over again. I take them to work. Do you have a lot of small appliances around the house that is always on? I cut my electronic bill almost in half by unplugging all the clock radios and night lights. I also bought a few of the fluorescent lamps that look much like a regular bulb. These things use 80% less electricity than ordinary light bulbs. You would be surprised, but these small things add up. I know that I was spending money on water filters and energy-efficient light bulbs but these things will pay for itself in one month, provided they relate to you. If you really need the money immediately begin to cut down on food costs. Romain noodles cost a dime and they taste as good as Campbell's Chicken Noodle, which costs $ 130 a jar. Ok no chicken in Romain noodles, but you're probably just missing about 4 small pieces of chicken. Put a brick in your toilet 'chamber'. You will use a little less water every time you flush. . Before you know you will be ahead. Would you like to be creative? Find yourself leaving lights on? Buy a motion sensor switch, the lights when you enter the room and turned off (with a certain time) when you leave the room. I have one, they cost $ 15 at Home Depot. Needs new windshield wipers on your car? Who says you have to buy 2? You just need new drivers side, leave the old wiper blade on the passenger side. So remember that you must begin to think SMART! 5. Put your money in a low interest savings account to ING and make a few bucks off it in the bank. Buy cheap food like rice / potatoes. Do not eat out or get the coffee. Try to get a good deal on your vacation. Look at the prices now and figure out what is the best price and you'll get more if you book early. The best way to save money is to get the same service at a lower price. As if you have a credit card that gives you no rewards, a credit card with rewards that a 1% cash back and no annual fee. Or a bank account with no fees. Same service different price. The only difference is that it costs less.

  6. Ignore the spammer directs you to its website.
First of all, there are many ways to economize. The first thing you should do is track your spending. With this list you can see where your money goes. Then you can decide what to do with and what to do without. Cut wife-wife drinks at Starbucks, start bringing your lunch to work (like that), and most importantly, pay your credit cards!
The key here is a little self-discipline. You must have this. ATM card or not. You must take a realistic assessment of how you spend. If you say "I think I would spend it" then forget it. I mean it. You will never get there if you upload it, and when you dig yourself in deeper.
My wife, before meeting me, was an economic mess. When I met her she had refinanced her car twice (for) seven years of payments on an entry level Kia, had never thought to check around for better insurance, did interest-only payments on her student loan debts six thousand dollars to credit card companies had and began using them, payday loans. Here's the kicker: she did not live extravagantly. What she did was not keep track of their income and expenses. The first thing we did was to pay off his car. It gave her two hundred extra bucks a month. She paid off the loan next payday. Shopping around for insurance saved her hundred bucks a month! Put her on my policy saved her a lot more, because she only cost me another couple of hundred a year. When she moved in with me, three months before the wedding, relieved that her rent, utilities and meals. Completely self she paid out of balance credit cards and cut them within nine months. Like last year, she was totally stuck on her student loan payments and has paid one of them. The others will take place in 2010, a year earlier than planned. She also cut out fast food lunches and store-bought coffee. Her credit score has increased by 200 points. All that was needed was self-discipline and a desire to improve. While I helped her something she did 85% of the self. She is now moving a substitute for fun that does not exceed 10% of her take-home income.
We begin vacation fund, a trick I learned from my stepfather. If I have cash left in your wallet at the end of the week goes into the jar. Keep adding and NOT DIP in and you can probably take a nice holiday.

  7. Not spend money on leisure shopping (for example, if you're bored / hungry / SAD). Instead, think of an alternative, play with your dog, make your spouse a romantic dinner, exercise. Use cash instead of plastic (credit / debt card) if you have enough.
I learned this from managing money e-book. If you need more just say it. =)

  8. Try and Buy generic brand items, clothes, food and other things to save money. Also give yourself a budget of how much you can spend a month. This budget is used to balance the wants and needs. Do not buy anything unless you aboslutely need it.

  9. Any salary you put at least $ 20 (or whatever you can afford) in the special savings account. It is for your trip and nothing else. Forget that. . . until it is time for you to buy your plane ticket or anything. And have a nice trip.

  10. Save more than you spend. . . . . . works for me. . . . . . . . .
