What is the best money saving tip you have ever learned?

I was buying so much ink for my printer & someone here told me about adjusting my computer & this will save me a fortune on ink thanks to knowing this. What can save a person money if they only knew about it?

  1. cook your own food instead of eating out all the time.

  2. easy things like coupons, saving cans then selling them…I didn’t know about the adjusting the computer tho…that’s pretty cool

  3. Eating at home instead of going out .

  4. Seriously, if you keep your tires inflated to the correct pressure, you’ll save on gas money. No joke.

One of the best bits of advice, and this comes from financial adviser Dave Ramsey, is pay cash for everything. When we spend using credit cards, we spend more.

  9. It seems like some people do not know the difference between spending money and saving money!

If you really want to build up a reserve by saving money, then you must regularly deposit a percentage of what you earn somewhere, like a credit union or bank, making sure there are no hidden charges that will siphon it away!

To spend less, you can use coupons, watch for sales, buy equivalent brands that are less expensive etc.
